How Does It Work?
Acupuncture is based on the idea that every living being possesses a vital energy called Qi (pronounced “chee”). This energy circulates throughout the body along pathways called meridians and connects to specific organs in the body. Health is determined by a balanced state of this energy, and pain and illness may occur when there is a disruption or blockage of the flow.
